During Life skills Enrichment today some Year 5 and 6 children cooked and prepared a range of healthy foods. They cooked cheesy, sweet corn muffins, prepared red cabbage slaw and were shown how to make 2 varieties of hummus. They then filled wholemeal pitta bread with the hummus and slaw.
In addition to learning about hand washing, cleaning preparation surfaces and washing up, our most important lesson today was read the recipe carefully!!!!!
